9/17/25 – #6 Trip Recap up to date

As I stated in the first summary, the trip easily divides into 6 legs.  After 4 months, we have completed all 6 legs. 

Here are some stats about the trip up to September 17th that we thought you might find interesting:

We completed the sixth leg in 16 weeks and are now Boise, ID.  Montana and now Idaho are my 49th and 50th state to visit!  They were Gail’s 41st and 42nd.  We hope to visit a few more for her next year.  And we have also visited all 10 Provinces in Canada. 

Here are some stats about the trip as of September 17th that we thought you might find interesting:

  1. We added 2 more States.   So, 5 states and 7 provinces this year.
  2. We traveled another 1100 miles for a total of about 9100 at an average of almost 180 miles between stops this leg.
  3. The longest leg this time was 314 miles from Bozeman, MT to Lolo, MT and the shortest leg was 46 miles from St Marys, MT to Bozeman, MT. 
  4. We stayed in 8 more RV parks for a total of 65!  And of interest, we have stayed in 132 since we left Miami last year.
    • 0 State Park for a total of 6 State Parks
    • 0 City Parks for a total still of 4
    • 0 Canada Nat’l park for a total of 5
    • 6 Private Parks for a total of 37 Private Parks
    • 2 more KOA parks for a total of 8 KOA parks
    • 0 more stay at Friends for a total of 3 stays at Friends
    • And 1 more stay at a luxury park for a total of 2.
  5. We have walked and hiked an additional 68 miles for a total of about 425 miles for the trip.  Whew!  Last year we did 430 miles but over 5 ½ months.
