8/27/25 – #5 Trip Recap up to date

 As I stated in the first summary, the trip easily divides into 6 legs.  After 3 1/2 months, we have completed 5 legs and with 1 more to go and 3 more weeks to go. 

Here are some stats about the trip up to August 26th that we thought you might find interesting:

We have completed the fifth leg in the first 15 weeks and are now in southern British Columbia heading south to Montana and Glacier National Park.  Back to the USA!

Here are some stats about the trip as of August 26th that we thought you might find interesting:

  1. We added 2 more Canadian Provinces for the trip (AB, BC).   So, 3 states and 7 provinces so far.
  2. We traveled another 1600 miles for a total of about 8000 so far at an average of almost 180 miles between stops this leg.
  3. The longest leg was 288 miles from Revelstoke, BC to Kaslo, BC and the shortest leg was 99 miles from Cochrane/Calgary, AB to Lake Louise, AB. 
  4. We stayed in 9 more RV parks for a total of 57!  And of interest, we have stayed in 124 since we left Miami last year.
    • 1 State Park for a total of 6 State Parks
    • 0 City Parks for a total still of 4
    • 2 Canada Nat’l park for a total of 5
    • 4 Private Parks for a total of 31 Private Parks
    • 1 more KOA parks for a total of 6 KOA parks
    • 0 more stay at Friends for a total of 3 stays at Friends
    • And 1 more stay at a luxury park for a total of 2.
  5. We have walked and hiked an additional 55 miles for a total of about 355 miles for the trip so far.  Whew!
