8/15/25 – #4 Trip Recap up to date

As I stated in the first summary, the trip easily divides into 6 legs.  After 2 1/2 months, we have completed 4 legs and with 2 more legs to go and 4 more weeks to go.  Below the trip map to date. 

Here are some stats about the trip up to August 8th that we thought you might find interesting:

We have completed the fourth leg in the first 13 weeks and are now in Alberta heading west for the Canadian Rockies and on to British Columbia.

Here are some stats about the trip as of August 8th that we thought you might find interesting:

  1. We added 2 more Canadian Provinces for the trip (MB, SK).   So, 3 states and 5 provinces so far.
  2. We traveled another 810 miles for a total of about 6400 so far at an average of over 160 miles between stops this leg.
  3. The longest leg was 245 miles from Wasagaming, MB to Regina, SK  and the shortest leg was still 102 miles from Swift Current, SK to Val Marie, SK.  Only 5 legs in this phase.
  4. We stayed in 5 more RV parks for a total of 48!  And of interest, we have stayed in 115 since we left Miami last year.
    • 0 State Parks for a total of 5 State Parks
    • 0 City Parks for a total still of 4
    • 2 Canada Nat’l park for a total of 3
    • 2 Private Parks for a total of 27 Private Parks
    • 1 more KOA parks for a total of 5 KOA parks
    • 0 more stay at Friends for a total of 3 stays at Friends
    • 0 more stays at luxury park for a total of 1
  5. We have walked and hiked an additional 43 miles in this short leg for a total of about 300 miles for the trip so far.  Whew!
